Do you swap out your Faith Planner/ War Binder at the beginning of the new year? I knew I would this year because I planned to create a custom A5 Traveler’s Notebook style Faith Planner. I did that a week ago but finally finished getting My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up perfectly yesterday. Well, for now at least.
I did share a few pictures on Instagram yesterday but didn’t write about it here on Debbie’s Musings. My Instagram share is here. Have a peek if you like.
My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up
So as I mentioned above I am using a customized A5 planner as you would a traveler’s notebook. I really like how it came together as well as how well it’s working out for me. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. With that being said I should probably share with you how it’s set-up etc.
The above image shows the outside cover of my Faith Planner/War Binder. I love these two colors together, the exterior is a shiny, sparkly black and the interior is a pretty shade of pink.
My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up – My Sections
I currently have 6 sections in my Faith Planner. I’ve used all but two of these sections last year. Below I’ve listed them and briefly described each one.
The above image shows the inside front cover of my planner. I decided to put my word of the year on the front flap of my notebook. The white doily lifts up too, I keep the questions and answers on how my word of the year was picked. This is also the front of my Scripture section.
This is the back side of the Scripture section and the first page of my scripture study so far. I decided to color code my studies, and bible verses. I will explain my coding process in another article.
My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up – Sections cont.
Here is the front of my Prayer section. I write a lot of prayers, this section always gets full fairly quickly. Some break this section into even smaller sections where they list individual people/things they pray for. But I keep all my prayers together. In the image below you’ll see the back side of the above page, I created a little pocket where I keep different strategy prayers etc.
After my Prayer section I have Gratitude. Shown in the image below. I like keeping track of answered prayers as well as giving God thanks for all the blessings He’s given me and my family.
My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up – continuing on with my sections
Above image shows my Bible Study section. This is where I keep notes from Bible Studies I’ve gotten. I haven’t started any focused studies yet so this area is still empty. But I plan to work on my Uninvited Study soon.
The next section I am going to show you is new this year. After deciding on a word of the year instead of a New’s Year Resolution I added a section for my Word “Hope”. This section will be used for inspirational things about my word as well as a “word” study on it. Again, this is new so I’ll update this post later if something changes with it.
Last but not least I decided to add a “Word Definition” section. Here I will put words I want to learn more about which will include their definition. Last year I started writing definitions down in random places and later struggled to find them all. This will make it much easier.
So there you have it My 2019 Faith Planner Set-up. I enjoyed getting this ready and add little bits and pieces here and there. I will share how it’s coming along in a few months.
Did you set up a new Faith Planner this year? How did it change from last years? If you’d like to be updated or see other posts on my Faith Planner follow along in any of the social media networks to the right.
