Snowflake has been up to some Elf on the Shelf Mischief with marshmallows. I keep marshmallows and hot cocoa on the coffee bar area, the girls and Noah love hot cocoa as much as I love my coffee. Every once in a while the girls will ask for marshmallows for a treat. They basically know that they are allowed to get them if they’ve eaten their lunch, dinner etc. Last week our Snowflake decided she wanted some too, not just one but a whole bag full.
Elf on the Shelf Mischief with Marshmallows
Grab a few marshmallows and put in a ziploc bag, then take a marshmallow cut in half and sit on your little elf’s hand. The other half of marshmallow rip a tiny piece off and dab a bit of water on it, then stick it to the side of your elf’s face. Don’t worry their faces are easily washed with soap in water.
Next find a spot in the kitchen to sit your Elf on the Shelf with her bag in one hand, and her half eaten marshmallow in the other. I actually had Snowflake chilling on the cabinet door. The girls though it was hilarious! Which also caused a trend for putting marshmallows in a bag as a snack.
