Easter Crafting – DIY Pom Pom Bunnies
Good Morning Dearies! Where does the time go seems like I was just announcing our Easter series, here we are today and there are only 17 days until Easter. We’ve been busy Easter crafting today we’re going to share our DIY Pom Pom Bunnies craft. We used a pom pom maker to make all of our pom poms if you’re still confused on how to use your maker click on the link above where I show step by step instructions.
DIY Pom Pom Bunnies
Decide how many bunnies and what color yarn you’re going to make your bunnies. I made 6-brown bunnies that had brown ears with a touch of pink on them. I also used black beads as their eyes and pink beads for their little noses.
DIY pom pom bunnies you’ll need the following items:
Brown Yarn or your choice color
Medium and Small Pom Pom Makers
Black and Pink Beads or Puffy Paint
Pink and Brown Felt or your choice colors
Glue Gun or Glue
Store Bought pom pom (medium-sized your choice of color)
DIY Pom Pom Bunnies – Instructions
If you’re going to make several bunnies it’s easy to make the same sized pom poms at once. Then make the same amount for the other size pom pom. Ex: if you’re making 4 bunnies make 4 of the small pom poms first, then make the medium pom poms. It just makes it easier to put them all together.
Attach eyes little black beads or puffy paints, and the nose little pink beads or puffy paints.
Cut ear shapes from the brown felt you’ll need two for each bunny, (shown in the video below) then cut a smaller ear piece out of the pink felt for the center of the ears. Attach the pink piece to the brown piece using a glue gun. After you’ve gotten all the pink pieces in place, add a dab of glue at the bottom center area of the ear and squeeze the sides inward. This will give the ear some character. Next, you’ll glue the ears to the bunny heads.

Attach the bunny heads to the bodies using the glue gun, then add the store-bought (or you can make your own small pom pom) to the body of the bunny where you’d like the tail to be. Now it’s time for you to display your cute new DIY Pom Pom Bunnies.
