Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. But you’ve still got time to add this simple DIY love sign. This is something you could actually use all year around if you wanted too. Let’s get started!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY love sign:
Cricut Cutting Machine (if you’re using one)
Frame 11x 17 (or size you prefer)
Cardstock or Scrapbook paper – Black, Silver, Red (or your choice)
Paint if your frame isn’t painted – Black (or your choice)
Double – sided tape or glue dots
Directions to make your own DIY love sign:
Paint your frame
If you’re using your Cricut, create a new project, pick the font, font size, and make the letters L, V, E
Next find the heart you like and make it. If you don’t have a heart already, you can add the heart shape too.
No Cricut machine? Don’t worry you can easily make the letters and heart by drawing them on cardboard then tracing them on the paper you like.
DIY love sign final steps:
It’s time to add the burlap to the frame. I used glue dots and glued my burlap to the piece of cardboard that comes with most frames. Once you’re done sit it aside.
Arrange your letters and heart on top of the burlap. Take a second and clean the inside of the glass. Place it on top of your burlap and letters and secure into place. You’re now done with your DIY love sign.
