Hershey’s Unsweetened Cocoa

If you use the same amount of Cocoa as I suggested you’re going to be well under 1 carb. Look at the cocoa label, there are 3 carbs and 2 fiber. Take the carbs and subtract the fiber which would be 1 net carb per 1 tablespoon. The batches I’ve made I only used 1/4 of a tsp, which is barely any carb at all.

Even if you made a bigger batch using the serving size of cocoa you’d still only get 1 carb. This is very helpful to those of us that like chocolate that don’t want to waste carbs on a snack. I made small portions as we’re working trying to stick to serving sizes and portions. The amount of heavy cream I used probably equaled to 1/4 cup. This would equivalate to  4 tablespoons of the heavy cream.

My granddaughters loved this delicious treat. They call it fake ice cream! Now that I am thinking about it, I wonder if I freeze it a little before eating how it would be. I will have to try it the next time I make some.

Spread the love
